The transformation of industry is a central issue in Europe and worldwide. To achieve global climate goals, sustainable technologies and solutions must be implemented on an international scale. Projects that incorporate a wide range of perspectives and experiences at the international level are considered particularly promising.
For this reason, NEFI is expanding its international activities to promote Austrian solutions on the global market and position Austria as a pioneer in industrial transformation.
NEFI will develop international research and innovation projects as well as initiatives to foster cross-border collaboration and contribute to the global transformation of industry.
Collaboration with International Initiatives
A key partner in international cooperation is the Net-Zero Industries Mission (NIM) of the innovation network Mission Innovation. The NIM aims to develop and scale cost-effective, climate-neutral solutions for industry by 2030.
NEFI actively contributes to the NIM Global Knowledge Exchange Platform through its projects and technologies, playing a crucial role in global knowledge networking for industrial decarbonization.
Furthermore, NEFI experts engage in the development of strategic partnerships and support the international positioning of Austria’s industrial transformation.
