Recap: NEFI Technology Talk "New Electricity Market Rules – New Opportunities for Businesses"

The revised regulatory framework for Austria’s electricity system creates numerous new opportunities for companies to reduce energy costs and accelerate their energy transition efforts. During the NEFI Technology Talk, 127 participants were presented with practical solutions, including dynamic grid access, direct lines, Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), bidirectional charging, participation in balancing energy markets, and grid-supportive energy storage. Insights from research and real-world case studies demonstrated how companies can benefit from and actively leverage the new regulatory framework.
