The use of industrial waste heat is essential for the decarbonisation of heat supply. Interregional heat transmission networks connect urban consumption centres and waste-heat-intensive industrial sites and, in doing so, traverse areas with further heat sources and sinks.

The workshop is dedicated to the exchange of experiences with interregional heating networks in Europe. It is part of the annual international conference World Sustainable Energy Days organised by the OÖ Energiesparverband, www.wsed.at.
