Bold Ideas. Genuine Change. From Visions to Projects.

CO₂ is no longer just an emissions problem – it is becoming a resource. Particularly in key industrial sectors such as steel, chemicals, and cement, Carbon Capture, Utilisation, and Storage (CCUS) opens new pathways to decarbonisation. The crucial task now is to further develop the technology and translate it into concrete projects.

The NEFI Technology Talk “CO₂ as a Resource – Technologies and Opportunities” brings together technology developers, companies, and research partners to collaboratively work on the future of industrial CCUS applications.

The focus lies on:

  • Insights into ongoing projects and technological approaches from the CCU&S Hub
  • Information on the current R&D funding call
  • A workshop for the joint development of new project ideas
